BTS Reveals Some Of The Hardest Parts About Releasing New Music

During a recent interview with Spout Podcast, host Erik Zachary asked the members how they felt about the period before the songs are released. For RM, he believed that it is the best of both worlds with both feelings of excitement and impatience.

We like it fast. We like it swift. It’s so hard for us to wait for this whole process when the teasers are coming out and when the photos are coming out. It is so exciting, but it’s really stressful as well.

Yet, when the track is released, it makes it all worth it for the group, seeing the reaction of ARMY to their new material.

Later in the video, the group was also asked what the longest part of the songwriting and recording process was, and the members seemed to have similar ways of thinking, especially when it came to their track “Butter.”

With the whole song being in English, Suga explained that the part that took the longest was perfecting the pronunciation of the lyrics.

J-Hope agreed, adding, “It also takes long to review and monitor in general.” For Jungkook, he emphasized the time it takes to ensure each word and syllable captures the detail and emotion of the lyrics.

With such complex and meaningful songs, it is no surprise that a lot of thought goes into recording the songs. It also explains why the members get excited when ARMYs actually hear the song! You can watch the whole video below.
